The unpleasant crowd in Bangladesh attacked Bata, KFC and Pizza stores in different parts of the state. Why? Because these are Israeli businesses and the crowd organized nationwide anti-Israeli protests.
The Bangladeshi police said they had arrested 49 people for violent and unlawful events that developed during the protests of Pro-Gaza on Monday.
Protests broke out in Bangladesh, including the capital of Dhak, on Monday against Israeli brutality in Gaza. Vandalism was reported in Bogra, Sylhet and Cox’s bazaar.
“The glass facades of the KFC and Pizza cottages were interrupted after the stones were thrown away during the rally protesters against attacks on Palestine,” the police said.

On the streets of Dhak, various political, social, cultural, religious and professional organizations protested.
The organizers said they organize demonstrations on a global campaign on a protest against brutal attacks on Palestinians in Gaza. Students boycotted courses and exams to participate in protests.
Officials and experts also observed strikes. The organizers urged people to boycott Israeli goods. In Gaza, they also condemned the “brutal killing of innocent children, women and civilians” and called on the international community to “be worth humanity”.
Demonstrators strongly criticized the United States for the support of Israel in their attacks on Gaz, as well as the silence of organizations such as the United Nations, the organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League.

49 arrested
The office of the main advisor Muhammad Yunus said in his statement that at least 49 individuals were arrested in connection with these incidents.
They said that two cases were formally filed and other cases were administered against responsible cases.
“In the determined efforts to bring those responsible to justice, the police made raids last night,” the statement read, adding that the agencies for enforcement are diligently reviewing video recordings captured during protests to identify more individuals involved.
“These operations will continue until all responsible violence and destruction are detained,” he added.
The Chief Advisor’s Office urged anyone with information to help in the investigation. “Together we can ensure that those who try to undermine the peace and stability of our society are responsible.”

Sheikh Hasina’s Flags Extremism in Bangladesh
Awami League Sheikh Hasina said vandalism during the protest is a sign of an alarming rise in extremism in Bangladesh.
“It is more than just a political crisis- it is a national emergency situation. Bangladeshi risks will become another Afghanistan if the international community is silent,” League Awami said.
The party demanded responsibility from Yunus administration and stated that a rule of law must be renewed.
“Democracy must be revived.

Bata reacts
Bata Bangladesh condemned the attacks on her country and rejected Israeli ownership.
“We are aware of inaccurate claims that indicate that Bata is an Israeli society or has a political association in the ongoing conflict of Israel-Palestine,” the company said.
“Bata is globally privately, a family society founded in the Czech Republic, without political ties to conflict,” he added.
