The curator of the Eden Gardens Sujan Mukherjee was criticized by fans and experts after he said that no franchise would dictate to the conditions in terms of preparing the goal. Mukherjee’s reaction given to Revsportz came after Captain Kalcata Knight Riders Ajinkya Rahane shared his dissatisfaction, not getting against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
“We would like to see how the playground helps with the rotation of the pitch, but again this goal was in the last and a half days under the cover,” Rahane said at a press conference after the match. “The two spinners we have, the quality we have, can miss a mission for any kind of goal, and I’m sure they are also confident.”
The words Captain KKR were justified. Spin Duo Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy is the best that exists in the Premier League Indian, far ahead of other teams. Rahane’s comments, however, did not sit with curator Eden Pitch, who asked the Spinners KKR to better mix the goal better.

But what did Sujan Mukherjee say? And was the will of his words even justified?
“According to the IPL rules and regulations, franchise on the pitch does not have a word,” said curator Eden Pitch Revsport.
“Since I took the lead (like curator Eden), the playground was like that. It was in the past. Things have not changed now and it won’t change in the future.”
Then he continued to swear KKR Spinners.
“Their (RCB) Spinners took four goals with each other. What did KKR Spinners do? Krunal Pandy got three goals. Suyash Sharma turned the ball to the castle Andre Russell.”
It should be noted that Eden Gardens created a trail friendly to the World Championship in ODI 2023, just 6 months before the playground turned into the main branding track for IPL 2024.
