The sacred relics of Piprahwa Buddha were solemnly received on their arrival in Leh on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) as people came out of their homes and gathered along the roads to pay their respects.
Attended by religious dignitaries and government officials, the reception ceremony witnessed traditional performances, ceremonial honors and sacred rituals that reflected the region’s rich Buddhist heritage.
