Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala demanded that the chief Minister Pinaraya Vijayan gives up the home department with regard to unfavorable judicial notes against his office in the case of corruption concerning Mr. Ajith Kumar, the next CEO of the police.
On Saturday, Mr. Chenninithala told the media that Mr. Vijayan had no power to free Mr. Ajith Kumar in the matter of investigated the vigilance and anti -corruption office (VACB). He argued that the main minister acted in an unusual way against the vigilation manual and interfered with the report on the investigation in an unauthorized way. He pointed out that the VACB and the Minister responsible for the ministry should follow a manual according to which a report on the investigation against Mr. Ajith Kumar should be submitted in court. After the court examined the report, further proceedings were to be followed. The Minister of the Interior responsible for VACB was entitled to interfere only with administrative matters. However, the prosecutor submitted the report in court together with the note of the main minister. This led to unfavorable trials against him, said Mr. Chennithala.
Meanwhile, the leader of Congress was also looking for an investigation against the Minister of Public Work by PA Mohammad Riyas as a result of the recurrent cases of bridges that collapsed throughout the state. Mr. Chennithala said that at least three bridges with insufficient construction have collapsed recently, which was the result of rough corruption. The left democratic leading government, which eagerly filed a case against the former Minister of VK Ebrahim Kunja, after some cracks were recorded on the Bridge of Palaarivattom, he was not concerned about these incidents.
