Congress legislator Mathew Kuzhalnadan said that the day is not far, when the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan himself will be appointed as an accused in a probe of serious fraud (SFIO) in the event of payment of Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited (CMRL). Sfio named his daughter Veena Thaikkandiyil as accused in the case.
On Friday (April 4, 2025), who spoke to Mediaperons in Thodupuzha, Mr. Kuzhalnadan tried to know if CPI (M) was still holding her earlier attitude to this matter. “When there were problems with CMRL-Exalogic transaction, CPI (m) claimed that this was a fair agreement between two companies. Is the CPI (m) party ready to repeat its previous attitude with regard to new development?” Said.
“CMRL has already explained that she had paid Mrs. Veena’s money to protect the company from other threats. Sasidharan Kartha, CEO of CMRL, allegedly holds 100 acres of illegal land with the support of the state government,” said Mr. Kuzhalnadan.
Mr. Kuzhalnadan was originally raised by Mrs. Kuzhalnadan’s financial transactions.
