
Pep Guardiola (photo by Carl Recine/Getty Images) New Delhi: Pep Guardiola revealed that he intends to suspend his football career after departure from Manchester City, although he remains uncertain about full retirement.
After extending the contract until June 2027 last November, it reached a 54 -year tennant in Etihad for 11 years.
His urban stint overcomes his previous managerial roles, including four years in Barcelona and three years lead Bayern Munich.
Under the leadership of the Guardiola, City achieved unprecedented success, secured six Premier League titles and their first champions league trophy at 2022/23, although the performances were challenging in the present season.
“I will stop after my contract with the city. I’m sure,” Guardiola said. “I don’t know if I retire but I’ll take a break. As I want to remember, I don’t know.
“All coaches want to win to have an unforgettable job, but I believe Barcelona, Bayern Munich and City have fun to watch game teams. I don’t think we should ever live whether we remember.
“When we die, our families are crying for two or three days, and then it is – you forget you. In the career of coaches are good and bad, it is important that the good ones are remembered longer.”
The city, currently fourth, faces wolves on Friday. Although they were popular for the fifth consecutive premier League title, they have seen a significant decline.
