Pakistani Rapids Hasan Ali feels that people decide to watch the Pakistani Super League (PSL) over the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) if they are well in the upcoming tournament. The tenth season PSL is ready to start from Friday 11th April and the opening game planned between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
This is the first time in its history that PsL meets with IPL. The Pakistani premiere home tournament T20 will therefore have to fight the IPL for the audience against teeth and nails. IPL has grown jumps and borders since its foundation in 2008 and is currently the second most valuable sports league in the world in terms of broadcasting shops.

“Of course, we should be good viewers, we meet the IPL, but we only had this window to organize a psl. Only performance and entertainment will grab the audience.

In the recent champions trophy, Pakistan organized an ICC event after 29 years. However, they became the first team to be eliminated from the tournament after losing the second match against India. They also lost the T20i series and ODI on the New Zealand 4-1 and 3-0. After their loss Captain Mohammad Rizwan said he would focus on PSL others, which did not drop well with the fans.
