US Secretary of Defense Pete HegSeth met with billionaire Elon Musk in the Pentagon on Wednesday, the officials confirmed – marked the second known visit to Muska in the Pentagon, as stated by Reuters.
“This morning he met Elon Musk and other members of the XAI team,” Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said.
“The Ministry of Defense has committed to working with AI CEOs to ensure that our war fighters are equipped to face the threats of the 21st century,” Parnell added.
Previously on Wednesday, HegSeth’s pastor Brooks Potteiger on X: “It’s not every day you walk past Elon Musk on the way to sermon.” Potteiger spoke on Wednesday at the Christian Prayer Service in the Pentagon.

At the beginning of March Musk visited the Pentagon and met Hegset. The US Defense Ministry described the meeting as “personal”.
During a private meeting at the Secretary’s Office, which lasted about an hour, the defense officials said they both discussed innovation, efficiency and smarter production methods – topics relevant to potential applications within the Ministry of Defense.
