At least two people are in serious condition after shooting on Wednesday in North Codorus Township, located about 115 miles west of Philadelphia, near the border of Maryland.
The suspect shooting was confirmed dead, CNN said he quoted the source. According to the intelligence socket, the source said the incident was probably held, while the officers served the court order.
No further details of the identity of officers or the suspect were released and an investigation is underway.
Wellspan York Hospital confirmed that it was treating two individuals associated with the incident. “Both are in serious condition. In the hospital there are increased safety protocols,” the spokesman said.
Officials react
Governor Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro announced that he’s on the road on the scene. “I have been informed about the situation involving the enforcement of the right in York County and I’m on the way now,” Shapiro said on X.
Dave Sunday General also confirmed that he is heading to the place. Governor Lieutenant Austin Davis called on the public to “send prayers to officers and those who participated in the York County shooting” and advise people to follow police leaders and avoid this area.
