Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) volunteers make efforts to reduce voltage in manipure by supporting dialogue between Meitei and Kuki communities, RSS said. Sangh claims that peace is gradually returning to a state that has been involved in ethnic violence since May 2023.
The head of the National Publicity and the Media Department of the RSS Sunil Ambekekar said that delegates attended the three -day meeting of the “prant pracharaks” shared information about the current situation in manipur and “positive” development in the state.

“People from all over the country took part in a meeting. They also shared information on how Swayamsevaks (RSS volunteers) are trying to establish harmony as quickly as possible, establish peace,” said RSS 7 July, reporting on the results of the meetings that ended on Sunday.
“For this reason (RSS Swayamsevaks), interviews between their Meitei and Kuki communities and all people to be a good atmosphere between them. They try to,” he said.
Ambequar said that the situation in manipure improved compared to last year.
“Many positive things have come from their experience (delegates). It will take even more time (to return the situation to complete normality).
Ambequar answered the question of the opposition claim that there was no normalness in the state, he said: “When conditions are getting worse, it will not improve in a day. But definitely, if we compare it to previous years, peace returned to some extent.
“The peace process began. The dialogues that happen between the two sides are progressing.”

In his statement, the Ambequar later said that RSS volunteers speak with “both parties” (Meitei and Kuki) in their efforts to restore normalness in manipuro.
“For this reason, positive changes can be seen on Earth,” he said.
Since May 2023, more than 260 people have been killed and thousands of people have provided homeless people in ethnic violence between groups Meiteis and Kuki-Zo.
Presidential Government in Manipuro since February
The Center imposed the President’s government in Manipuro 13. February after the then head Minister N Biren Singh resigned. The State Assembly, which is held by 2027, was suspended.
