PDP PDP Mehboob Muftti on Thursday (April 24, 2025) asked the Interior Minister Amita Shaha to ensure the safety of Kashmir, who lived in other parts of the country with regard to the threats issued by the right -wing elements after the terrorist attack of Pahalgam.
In the post on the “X”, the former Chief Minister said she was talking to Mr. Shah to offer condolences over the murder of Pahalgam.

The President of the Folk Conference Sajad Lone also appealed to the center to ensure the safety of Kashmir students.
“There have been many incidents across the country in which Kashmir students are harassed, beaten, bullied and even asked to release their living spaces.
Terrorists launched fire in a meadow called “Mini Switzerland” near the tourist center of Pahalgam in South Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon and killed 26 people, mostly tourists.
