Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) Ugnici Gram Panchayat in Kalghatgi Taluk Abdul Razak Maniyar was suspended to accusations of an unlawful transfer of money from the Gram account on the Escrow account to private individuals.
CEO Dharwad Zilla Panchayat Bhuvanesh Patil has issued an order suspending PDO after preliminary findings revealed that while he had previously served in Galagi Hulakoppa Gram Panchayat, Maniyar was involved in financial incorrect acceptability.
Although the circles clearly taught that the custody grants must be compulsorily paid by Hescom to electricity accounts, Maniyar did not follow the rules, said the order signed by the CEO.
