Representative of the main Minister K. Pawan Kalyan promised to see the mass drying of coconut trees along the irkaraguptam irrigation outflow in the razole Assembly segment in the Dr. Brus Konaseem after Dasar.
Mr. Pawan posted on September 20 that after Dasar he visited the coconut groves dying along the irkaraguptam irrigation runoff. “I noticed the agony of coconut breeders from 13 villages, including Kesanapalli, Karavaka, Gollapal, Gogannamatam and Sankaraguptam,” he said.
“I decided to see the affected coconut groves and communicate with farmers. I will also discuss the problem with officials from irrigation and agricultural departments and scientists,” said Mr. Pawan Kalyan.
22nd August Hindu highlighted the situation of coconut farmers and devastation along the outflow of irrigation of Sankaraguptam in the reflector when water committed the ground.
More coconut trees have died over the past six years in the middle delta Godavari due to salt stagnant waters annoying the soil in villages along the irkaraguptam irrigation runoff.
