Jana Sena Party (JSP) President and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan said on the occasion of International Women’s Day that it is a time to celebrate the strength, dignity and achievements of women who shape families, society and the nation.
In a post on social media, he said that Bharat has worshiped women since Puranic times as the embodiment of Shakti. “Today, that legacy continues with President Droupadi Murmu serving as the country’s first citizen,” he said.
“A nation’s true progress is measured by the dignity, safety and empowerment of its women. Let’s celebrate their strength, support their aspirations and work together to build a society where every woman can rise and lead,” he added.
IT & HRD Minister Nara Lokesh extended his greetings to women on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
He said in a press release that humanity owes its existence to women and they deserve respect and support in every possible way as they play many roles in society without taking much care of themselves. Such was their determination and determination to do things that often go unrewarded.
Respecting women is a moral value that everyone should demonstrate in practice, he said, recalling the way his mother taught him how to treat women as mother figures.
