Moving southwestern railways to add five other coaches to Bengaluru-Kararwa Panchagang Express, led from 13 June a delay about an hour on arrival of the train to Bengalur and Karwar.
While Panchaganga Express (train no. 16596) is scheduled to arrive at YESHWANTHPUR at 6.43 hours, arrived late by 47 minutes, 1.34 hours, 1.10 hours and 1.08 hours 13, 14, 15 and 16 and 16, according to Prathvi Kundera.
The average train delay in the last seven days was 41 minutes in YESHWANTHPUR and 27 minutes in the Bengalur KSR, according to the National Train Investigation System (NTES).
Similarly, the train arrived late by 9 minutes, 13 minutes, 2.06 hours and 1 hour in Karware at these dates, against the scheduled arrival 8.25 hours, Hindu said. According to NTES, the average delay in the last week in Karwar was 7 minutes.
Disabled visitors to the office
The delayed arrival, especially in Bengalur, influenced regular office commuting commuting, said Gautam Shetty, member of the Kundapura Railway Rodlidism Samithi. He said that visitors to the office must take a half -day holiday due to the delay.
The timing of Panchagang Express, which left Karwar at 18:00 and achieved YESHWANTHPUR at 6.43 hours and a Bengalur KSR at 7.15 pm, was why the service became a big hit.
After 7:00 in the morning, the YESHWANTHPUR-KSR section Bengalur is very overloaded with the arrival of many trains from distant places, including North Karnataka, resulting in a delay in Panchagang Express, he said.
Crossing on the road Subrahmanya
No train. 16595 and Train No. 16596 exceeded each other in Siribagil on the section Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya Road Ghat, when they had 14 coaches. After adding five more coaches, which compensate for canceled daily trains in the section, two trains were produced to distort to Subrahmanya road station due to restrictions in siribagil. The Bengalur service was not designed to compensate for the delay between Hassan and Chikkabanavar, resulting in a delay, Shetty said.
Members of the parliament from the coastal region urged SWR to ensure the accuracy of the services before the addition of other coaches, they noted patrons.
