The National Democratic Alliance will win next year’s assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. All parties that join the NDA will win, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Nainar Nagenthran said in Coimbatore on Monday.
He told the rally that the parties that join the NDA before or after Pongal will win the assembly elections. Otherwise, victory will be for alliance members only. “Former state party president K. Annamalai and I participated in the valli kummi dance (at the rally). We will have one more dance from now to make the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah who formed the NDA succeed,” he said.
People want the DMK government to go. Chief Minister MK Stalin is clinging to Tamil and is trying to keep the alliance together so that his son Udhayanidhi Stalion becomes the Chief Minister. Mr. Modi ordered that Tamil be taught in schools in Uttar Pradesh. None of the ministers in Mr. Modi’s government have been charged with corruption. But 17 ministers of the DMK government are accused of corruption, he said.
Former AIADMK minister SP Velumani said DMK has not done anything for Tamil Nadu or Coimbatore region and is afraid of AIADMK-BJP alliance.
