Thrissur’s alleged fake voter scandal of the voters threw himself into the highest gear with fresh accusations, counterattacks and requirements for court investigation that was angry with the political scene.
The controversy focused on claiming that many incapable or duplicate voices were added in the roles before the 2024 Lok Sabha surveys.
The former leader of the Mil and the leader of the Akkar Congress on Wednesday claimed that Mr. Gopi’s brother, Subhash Gopi and Švagrová, Rani, each organized by two voters identification cards registered in the Eravipuram Colllam and the other in Thrissur.
Mr. Akkar also claimed that the names of the voters for local elections in the body appeared in the list of Kollam Corporation and Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. “These details clearly prove that they are not permanent inhabitants of Thrissur. The election law allows only one card per person. Using dual cards is a crime.”
He claimed a wider plot, including “thousands of duplicate IDs embedded in Thrissur Rolls under the BJP directive”.
A member of the KPCC Political Affairs Committee and the former TN Prathapan MP claimed that more than 30,000 false votes were invested in Thrissur’s public opinion surveys by affecting a private software company involved in the voters’ list. He called it a “criminal plot” and demanded a court -watched probe.
“The last roles contained names about which neither political agents nor the public did not know, including voters brought from other districts and even other countries,” he said.
Meanwhile, there has been accusations that the state vice -president of BJP V. Unnikrishhnan gave his voice in Thrissur using the residential address of the district wearer of BJP and was registered in connocence. Mr. Unnikrishnan denied the offense and claimed that he voted only in Thrissur.
The accusation has emerged that the voices transferred from Alathur to the Thrissur constituency in Lok Sabha surveys in 2024 are now restored. According to the leader of Congress in Kozha on Sabu, 236 applications were submitted from the area of the shob city in Kozyhy.
He says they were votes that BJP moved to Thrissurian regions of Ayyanthole and Poongunnam during the elections. Congress filed a complaint with the Secretary of Panchayat.
BJP leaders pushed hard. Former state President K. Surendran accused CPI (M) and the Congress of political hypocrisy. “Parties that could not identify false voices before the elections could now also hang up,” he said, calling for them to legally fight him.
He insisted that Mr. Gopi lived in Thrissur for a year and was fully eligible to be on the roles. “A handful of controversial names cannot disrupt a majority of 75,000 votes,” he said.
Mr. Surendran warned that BJP would mount the aggressive political reaction and stated that the party “is not afraid of legal cases” and even threatens symbolic anti -restraints.
