Representatives of part of agricultural organizations on Saturday were looking for compensation of 3.5 Crore crore for acre and expressed their willingness to give 449 acres of land in ChannaayAayApatalali Taluk on the outskirts of Bengalur.
This development comes, although farmers, civil society activists and Dalit leaders have launched a lengthy agitation that criticized the decision to acquire almost 1,777 acres of fertile land for this purpose. The main minister is ready to meet farmers against the project 15 July.
Four conditions
On Saturday, farmers who met Mr. Siddaramaiaha stored four conditions for obtaining land. They required 3.5 GBP crore for ACR and jobs according to qualifications for children of the slaughtered land. They also demanded that the government should not overcome the soil to the “green zone”. The second demand was the transformation of the soil in nearby villages into a “yellow zone”. They also demanded that the acquisition process be carried out transparently to ensure trouble -free compensation for land consultants.
Among those who attended the meeting were Ministers of KH Muniyapp and BS Suesh, Legal Adviser of the Chief Minister as Ponnappa and Higher Officials. Mr. Siddaramaiah met the Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh a few days ago and was looking for a defensive corridor for South and North Karnataka.
“A harmful intention”
Meanwhile, farmers and their supporters, who oppose the land acquisition process, issued a statement in which they questioned “the harmful intention of the pro-common acquisition team to interrupt the unity of people” from the 13 villages in Channarayapatna Hobli. “People who sweat and sweat in the fields are with us,” said Karali Srinivas, a conference protest committee for protesting land Channaayapatna.
“The farmers’ protest against forced land acquisition, which takes place for 1 195 days, reached its final phase, and Mr. Siddaramaiah announced that he would declare his decision on July 15.”
