The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defense led by its Chairperson Radha Mohan Singh visited the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) on Saturday (January 17, 2026).
The committee witnessed underwater sensors and related technologies developed by NPOL, including live demonstrations of various systems. The delegation appreciated NPOL’s research and development efforts in developing sonar systems for the Indian Navy, according to the report.
