Sitar Ratna Samiti organizes the three -day music festival of the Paampara SangeeTotsava in memory of the Sitar Maestro Abdul Karim Khan in Dharwad since Friday.
On Thursday, Prespersons in Dharwad spoke President Sitar Ratna Samiti Raghanendra Ayi, that the music festival was organized to pay tribute Sitar Maestro in Alur Venkatarao Bhavan.
Mr. Ayi said that on the day of the opening day the singer Saurabh Nayak from Pune and Sarod Exponent Anichet Chakravarty from Kolkata from 17:30 to 21:00.
The second day, Shehnai Exponent Pramod Gaikwad of Pune and singer Sri Ram Narayan Jha of Delhi will be performed. They will be accompanied by Nisar Ahmed, Keshav Joshi and Basavaraj Hiremath.
On the final day, the voice performances will be Subhash Pawar from Goa and Radhika Joshi of Pune, followed by the table of Jugalbandi Pandit Raghunath Nakod and Pandit Ravican Nakod.
Shankar Kabadi, Shrihari Diggavi, Prasad Madiwalar, Basavaraj Hiremath and Vinod Patil will be for Companists’ concerts.
