The State Budget 2026-27 has announced a number of initiatives to strengthen digital governance in the revenue department, focusing on database integration, upgrading software platforms and expanding paperless services.
The government will also develop a new platform for digital e-stamping and end-to-end paperless registration. After that, the process of generating marks, writing records, storing documents, searching and sharing digitally will be online.
