The day after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir, the pandjab was included in the high vigil to make the highest priority to maintain the right and order in the state.
Pandjab Main Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday (April 23, 2025) after chairping a high -level meeting with civil and police officers, he said the state was on high vigil and gives the highest priority to maintain law and order in Pandjab.
He said that the incident has once again proved that terrorists have no religion and their only goal is to spread terror among the masses. The Chief Minister said that security was strengthened in the state and a strict vigil is held across the paňjab to ensure that no one violates the law.

He said that the Pandjab Police is fully able to thwart such an attempt, and perfect coordination is ensured between the army, the BSF and the Pandjab Police.
He said that in Punjab, safety was strengthened at tourist places and added that Panjab had a border with Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir, so the state is on the high vigil and the eagle eye is maintained against national forces. The main minister said that the boundaries of the state have already been sealed and the cops were issued a red warning.
The leaders and staff of Congress and Bharatiya Janata (BJP) organized independent demonstrations against a terrorist attack in Chandigarh. BJP Pandjab and former Chief Minister Gujarat Vijay Rupani said the perpetrators would be taught such a lesson that their future generations would think a hundred times before they cover the evil eye in India.
The president of the Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the Pandjab Pandjab, described the country as a direct attack on the unity and integrity of the country. “Today, all of us, regardless of our political affiliation and ideology, together to defeat the enemy’s ruthless proposals,” he said.
