Amritsar Rural SSP Maninder Singh said the explosion occurred as a result of incorrect treatment, while the man tried to get an explosive material, PTI reported.

The team from the forensic science laboratory was appropriate to collect explosives, the police said.
The locals reported that they have heard a loud explosion followed by a panic in an area that has been referred to by the police since then.
