The Pandjab Police claimed that the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist module (BKI), who allegedly operated founded Maninder Bill and Manu Agwan, arrested three individuals accused of grenades attacks on police columns in Badshahpur in Punjab’s alien.
Police Director (DGP) Pandjab, Gaurav Yadav, said the operation was carried out together by the Counter Intelligence (CI) in Patiala and the State Special Operations Cell Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar.
“The arrests were identified as Sandeep Singh aka Deep, Badhahpur in Patiala; Harpreet Singh aka Jagga, Harchandpura resident in Patiala; and HarmanPreet Singh alias Preet, GuDialpury in Patiala,” Yadav said.
The arrests follow the attacks of grenades reported on a police post in Badshahpur, Patiala 1. April 2025 and in the police post in Ajimgarh, Haryana 6. April 2025. Workers of the banned clothing of BKI reportedly demanded responsibility for both attacks.
“The Pandjab Police has solved both incidents of pomegranial attacks on a police facility in the state,” DGP said.
“The preliminary investigation also suggested that the module is actively planning further attacks on police facilities in Pandjab,” he added.
Simrat Kaur, who provides further details, the next CEO (CI), stated during the interrogation that the arrested individuals admitted that the attacks were dominated by their collaborator Gurpreet Singh alias Babbu, who is currently laid in Patiala prison and remains in police link.
