The Pandjab Government has learned that it has decided to extend the detainment of a Khalistan extremist and MP Khadoor Sahib Amritpal Singh under the National Security Act of a year, sources said on Friday.
Thirty -twenty -year -old Singh is currently filed in prison in Assam’s Dibruugarh and after his arrest 23 April 2023 was detained under the National Security Act (NSA), the PTI report said.
The detention of Singh’s nine collaborators was not prolonged by the state government. After their detention, they were brought back to the pandjab at Dibruugarh. They were arrested in connection with the attack of the police station Ajnala 2023.

They have been identified as Basant Singh, Bhagwant Singh alias Pradhan Mantri Bajeke, Gurmeet Singh Gill alias Gurmeet Bukkanwala, Sarabjeet Singh Kalsi alias Daljeet Singh Kalsi, GurinderPal Singh Aujla Chacha, Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal alias Kulwant Singh, Varinder Johal and Pappalpreet Singh.
