The Dehradun police said that while the family originally belonged to Haryana, they lived in Dehradun for several years and the vehicle was registered there.

On Tuesday, seven members of the same family were found inside the locked car parked in the 27 sector in the Panchkula district.
The deceased were identified as a right mittal (42), his parents, wife, two daughters and son.
Another investigation of this matter is underway.
