Officials against the Corruption Office (ACB) arrested Akkala on Wednesday, Secretary of Panchayat from the village of Kanamamidi in Hazipur Mandal, while taking a bribe of 20,000 GBP in the complainant’s house.
According to ACB, the Secretary demanded money for showing official kindness, including the basement and recording of the stage procedure of the house built in the Indiramma Indles of the scheme. This was supposed to make a penalty for a partial payment of 1 Lakh per complainant.
The deprived amount of the bribe was obtained from the accused officer.
After the trap, Swamy was made before a special judgment for SPE and ACB cases in Karimnagar. Another investigation is underway.
The complainant’s identity was detained for safety reasons.
