On the eve of the inauguration of the first Indian vertical elevator sea bridge, the Minister of the Union Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the Pamban Bridge was one of the miracles of “Tamil history, culture, Tamil language and ancient Tamil civilization”.
He said, “The Pamban Bridge is one of the most important bridges in the history of railways… It is one of the greatest architectural miracles for Tamil’s history, culture, ancient Tamil civilization and Tamil language.
