In order to improve the livelihood of women who are one of the development of women and children in rural areas (DWCRA), the district administration will start from 18 August from 18 August, said collector Eluru K. Vetri Selvi.
The collector and collector of the joints of P. Dhatri Reddy checked various craft products made of palm leaves by local women here on Monday.
On this occasion, Mrs. Vetri Selvi said that under the leadership of the District Rural Development Agency (Drda), women from self -help groups (SHG) in Chintalapudi and Lingapal Mandals, training in emptying objects such as flower baskets, hats, faithful, flower heads and decorative dolls. The training will be carried out in Chintalapudi.
She explained that after training products will be sold online and presented at exhibitions organized to increase demand and popularity. Administration will also facilitate access to bank loans and other credit units for craftsmen.
The collector interact with DWCRA women and discussed ways to expand their opportunities and ensure sustainable income through crafts. The program was attended by Drda R. Vijaya Raja and other officials.
