Palllivlivazal Grama Panchayat in Idukki has set up the “Fort” model, the latest initiative within the project “Take-A-Break.
Its former designs within the Munnar Rail Service as a low -floor bus modeled.
Panchayat officials said the Fort model was set up in Pothamed near Pallivasal in Munnar.
President Panchayat Pratheesh Kumar VG said Pallivasal was one of the emerging tourist sites at Munnar Hill. “The Fort model was set up to estimate 28 Lakh,” he said.
“There are a café, views and toilet complex in the Fort building in the Fort building. From the perspective, tourists can have a view of Chokramudi hills,” he said.
Mr. Kumar said that Panchayat planned more such initiatives within the project to attract tourists to Munnar, there by increasing Panchayat’s intake and creating more jobs.
“Panchayat has completed six tourism projects, including the Fort model, the Munnar Monorail model, the Munnar Rail model, the low floor bus model, the Watch Tower and the Lodge,” said Mr. Kumar.
“We get good feedback from tourists. They want to spend time and take selfies in buildings with breaks,” he said.
Minister of Local Municipalities MB Rajesh started on Tuesday in Pallivasal “Fort”.
The Minister launched the project and stated that the government would immediately carry out a project in Munnar to change the destination of tourism in a hill to a fully pure destination.
