CHENNAI:
Former Chief Minister and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Workers’ Rights Retrieval Kazhagam coordinator O. Panneerselvam on Wednesday said AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami should be taught a “befitting lesson”. Addressing a meeting of his supporters in Chennai, Mr Panneerselvam said the AIADMK was experiencing one electoral setback after another after Mr Palaniswami became the party’s general secretary on the grounds that only “unified leadership” would take the party to greater heights. “Now the party members are frustrated and left without a rudder,” he said, adding that after the beginning of Thai month (in mid-January 2026) there will be “good news”.
