New Delhi: In the significant development of the Indian FanCode streaming platform, it has reported that in India it will suspend the broadcast of Pakistani Super League (PSL) 2025 with an immediate effect starting from Thursday, April 24th.
The decision follows the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which required the lives of more than 25 individuals, including Indian tourists.
Given the deeply disturbing incident in Pahalgam and the ongoing national sentiment, Fancode, the official PSL broadcaster in India, it will not stream the remaining matches of the Pakistan tournament.
The Pakistanian cricket council (PCB) has to issue a reaction to development, but this step is already producing waves across sports and political communities, while fans strongly respond to social media.
PSL, Pakistani T20 premiere, had a historically mixed relationship with the Indian audience due to diplomatic tension between the two countries.
This means another chapter at the intersection of geopolitics and sport, which is a space that has often been caught in the crossfire of larger national questions.
