Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his readiness for a meaningful dialogue with India to deal with all the excellent problems.
Mr. Sharif views of dialogue with India were expressed during a telephone interview with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman on Tuesday (June 24, 2025), only over two months after tension between two neighbors after April 22, Paalgam’s terrorist attacks killed by 26 people.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister said during the interview that “Pakistan is ready to participate in a meaningful dialogue with India about all outstanding issues, including Jammu and Kashmir, water, trade and terrorism.”
Soon after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam India, it took several repressive measures, including the introduction of the Indus Indus (IWT) water agreement from 1960 (IWT) and the stopping of all trade in Pakistan.
India also launched Sindoor 7th May 2025 and focused on terrorist infrastructure in the territories controlled by Pakistan in response to the terrorist attack of Pahalgam. The strikes launched four days of intense clashes that ended in understanding the stopping of military actions 10 May 2025.
“Prime Minister Sharif repeated the deep gratitude for the constant support of the Kingdom of Pakistan during a recent distance with India,” Radio Pakistan said.
At the beginning of last month, Sharif had, while in Iran and Azerbaijan, he expressed his willingness to conduct peace talks with India to solve all excellent problems, including Kashmir, terrorism, water and trade.
India, however, explained that it would only have a dialogue with Pakistan when returning to Kashmir, occupied by Pakistan and the problem of terrorism.
Randhir Jaiswal, a spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs, also stated that Indus Water would remain in the non -governing contract until Pakistan has credibly and irrevocably affect its support for cross -border terrorism “Like Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Terror and interviews cannot go together, terror and trade.
Meanwhile, Radio Pakistan also said that Mr. Sharif and the Saudi leader also exchanged opinions on the rapidly evolving situation in West Asia. The Prime Minister stated that Pakistan fully supported the immediate de-schooling of the Iranian-Israeli conflict and its peaceful solution through dialogue and diplomacy.
“The Crown Prince from his part thanked the Prime Minister for a telephone call and appreciated the Pakistani statement of solidarity and support of the kingdom,” Radio Pakistan said.
“Mohammed bin Salman has recognized the constructive role of Pakistan to support the peacekeeping solution of the Iranian-Israeli conflict conflict,” he added.
