Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Saturday that in the attack of Pahalgam, which claimed at least 26 lives, he said that the armed forces were “ready to defend the sovereignty of the country”. This comes after Indian repressive steps against Pakistan have taken Indus, 1960, to close the Attari control to dismiss the “valid visa” issued by Pakistani nationals.
During the address of the military ceremony at the Abbottabad Shariff, Shariff said: “Our brave armed forces remain fully capable of preventing the country’s sovereignty and its territorial integrity against any poor demonstration, as it has clearly demonstrated its measured response to India in February 2019.”
“Ready to Cooperation” with the “International Inspectors” probe
Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif reportedly said that his country was “ready to cooperate” with “any investigation conducted by international inspectors”. Asif was talking about a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, who killed at least 26 people.
“We don’t want this war to ignite, because the outburst of this war can cause a disaster for this region,” said Asif New York Times. The report claimed that Pakistani officials asked Trump’s administration to mediate the dispute between India and Pakistan.
