
Pakistan’s Independence Day: Three people who consisted of a senior citizen, an eight -year -old girl lost his life because of “ruthless” air fire in Karachi, and more than 60 people suffered injuries of shots on events throughout the city, according to Geo News, quoting a rescue clerk.
Air shooting incidents reportedly took place in Liaquatabad, Korangi, Lyari, Mehmoodabad, Akhtar Colony, Keamari, Jackson, Baldia, Orangi Town and Paposh Nagar, Sharifabad, North Nazimabad, Surjani Town.
The young girl was hit by a bullet in Azizabad, while a man named Stephen was killed in Korangi.
Five individuals were killed while trying to intervene in attempts to robbery during a separate incident of shooting throughout the city. In other cases, civilians died after being hit by stray bullets or for air fire.
The injuries were moved to the Civil, Jinnah and Abbas Shaheed hospitals, including private healthcare facilities in Gulistan-E-Jahara and other parts of the city. The authorities charged more than 20 suspects from different places and confiscated modern firearms and ammunition they had, reports.
Rescue officials said tens were injured due to festive shooting. The authorities called this “ruthless” and dangerous and asked citizens to weaken the day of independence in a safer way.
The police said that the investigation was taking place and that strict steps would be taken against anyone involved in air shooting.
Earlier incidents of shooting
According to the report, at least 42 people, including five women, came in January in January, they lost their lives in shooting throughout the city, while 233 others, including five women, were injured.
