
Neera Chopra and Arshad Nada (PTI Photo) New Delhi: Classic Neera Chopra, New International Javelin, will be held on May 24 at the Bengalur Stadium Sree Kanteerava. The one -day competition was provided by the world’s athletics status, making it the highest athletic event that has ever been introduced in India.
Neera Chopra organizes a meeting with JSW Sports in cooperation with the athletic Federation of India and world athletics.

On Thursday, the organizers announced a list of international stars for the classic Neera Chopra competition.
Star athletes confirmed
- Anderson Peters (Grenada) – World Champion in 2019 and 2022, personal best 93.07 m.
- Thomas Röhler (Germany) – 2016 Olympic Golden Medallist, personal best 93.90 m.
- Julius Yego (Kenya) – World Champion in 2015 and Olympic silver Mestralist in 2016, personal best 92.72 m.
- Curtis Thompson (United States) – 2023 Pan -american Games Champion, leading season at 87.76 m.
- Genki Dean (Japan) – 2023 Asian Games bronze -ék, personal best 84.28 m.
- Luiz Mauritio da Silva (Brazil) – more South American stages, personal best 85.91 m.
- Rumesh Pathirage (Sri Lanka) – promising talent, personal best 85.45 m.
Indian spear at the meeting will soon be announced.
The Olympic champion from Pakistan, Arshad Nadena, refused the invitation of Neeri Chopry to the competition.
In an interview with PTI Nada, he said he had to focus on Asian athletic championships that take place in Korea Gumi in Korea from 27 to 31 May.
It is scheduled to go to Korea 22 May, two days before the Bengalur meeting.
