This November, the Malaysian Hockey Federation did not invite Pakistan to Azlan Shah last year Pakistan.
“The former PHF official made some bad decisions during the last Azlan Shah Cup, who left the PhF in the MHF debt,” according to the source in PHF.
Malaysian organizers were not “happy” with the situation, so they did not apply to an invitation to Pakistan last year.
The source stated that PHF officials tried to solve the matter with the MHF and hopefully the invitation will come at the end of this week.
“Pakistan and Malaysia have very strong hockey ties over the years and this problem should be solved,” he added.
Japan champions will be missing due to previous obligations.
