Hours after India decided to send its delegations to key partner countries to manifest their determination to deal with terrorism against the background of the Sindoor operation, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that he would send the diplomatic team to important world capitals to introduce his country.
The decision was made by Sharif on Saturday (May 17, 2025) after a telephone interview with the former Foreign Minister and the head of the Pakistani People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, according to the Prime Minister’s office (PMO). The Pakistani decision to send his delegation came several hours after India announced that after the mission of seven delegations of all parties to key partner countries, including members of the UN Security Council, at the end of this month, to report an Indian report on zero tolerance against terrorism after Pahalgam and Sindoor.
Mr. Shehbaz “decided to send a diplomatic delegation to a high level to important world capitals to reveal Indian propaganda,” state radio Pakistan said.
He entrusted the leadership of the delegation to Mr. Bhutto Zardari.
“Today I was contacted by the Prime Minister (Shehbaz Sharif), who asked me to lead the delegation to present the Pakistani Míru case on the international scene. I am honored by this responsibility and on Saturday I remained determined to serve Pakistan,” Saturday (1725).
In addition to Mr. Bhutt Zardari, the delegation will include Minister of Energy Musadik Malik, leader of the Pakistani Muslim League-Nawaz Khurram Dastgir Khan, Senator Sherry Rehman, former Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar, Mutahid Quumi Faisal Subzwari Jalova Abbani.
According to PMO, the delegation will also “underline the sincere efforts of Pakistan for peace and stability in the region.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Isoq Dar said that the delegation would soon be visited by the United States, the United States, Brussels, France and Russia to emphasize the attitude of Pakistan to the recent conflict.
India and Pakistan achieved an understanding of 10 May until the end of the conflict after four days of intensive cross -border blows of drones and missiles.
