Pakistan announced the closure of specific parts of Karachi and Lahore for a limited period of time in May, with citing security reasons, PTI press agencies, media report, said on Thursday.
The announcement comes in the middle of the increased tension between two nations after a terrorist attack in Jammu and the Kashmir district Pahalgam, which killed 26 civilians, 22 April.
The reports also stated that Islamabad claimed that he had trustworthy evidence that India was preparing to start a military event over the next 24 to 36 hours.
“The limited air space will be closed daily from 4:00 to 8:00 local time from 1 May to 31,” said Express Tribune, quoting official announcements.
The authorities confirmed that air traffic to and outside the main airport, such as Jinnah International in Karachi, will continue with minimal modifications.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that the closure will not significantly disrupt commercial flight operations, as the aircraft will be redirected by alternative flight routes within limited hours, she said.
