The Pakistanian cricket council (PCB) is preparing to restore the suspended Pakistani Super League (PSL), although foreign recruits do not return and host the finals before Bangladesh arrives at the T20 series at the end of this month. A reliable source of PCB said that after a “ceasefire” with India plans to restore PSL by 16 May.
“We have eight games, including the finals, the remaining PSL and the plan is to continue until 15-16 May with or without foreign players and wrap the action,” the PCB source said.
The official said that some of the foreign players are still in Dubai and some have gone to their homes. “It was said that franchises asked foreign players to return to the remaining matches, but the final decision is with them and their advice,” he said.
“The PCB is in contact with the Bangladeshi cricket plate and both monitor the situation, but they are limping back to the normality situation that the series is now on.”
Bangladesh is scheduled to play matches in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Lahore. PCB plans to complete the rest of the PSL in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
