
At least 11 people were killed on Saturday in North Pakistan, when the army launched a series of drones against the Taliban – losses that the provincial government called “deeply regrettable”.
Three strikes took place late on Friday in the Khyber province Pakhtunkhwa and focused on “Pakistan Taliban” in the area bordering Afghanistan, the head of the police officer said on condition of anonymity. In recent months, violence broke out there.

“Only this morning did we learn that two women and three children include the victims,” the officer said.
“On the protest, the locals placed the bodies of the victims on the road,” with the “innocent civilians” killed in strokes, he added.
The spokesman of the provincial government Muhammad Ali Saif confirmed late on the day that in the mountainous Katlang region in the district of Katlang, based on the presence of terrorists, a “anti -terrorist operation” was performed.
“The messages suggest that the location was used as a shelter and a transit point for terrorist elements,” he said in a statement.
“The following information revealed that some unarmed civilians were present near the operating point. The loss of innocent lives, including women and children, is deeply regrettable.”

He said that the security of civilians is sometimes endangered by the “strategy of terrorists, which lies between civilian populations” and “urgent nature” of anti -terrorism operations.
Another police source said that “the investigation is underway to see if the Taliban warriors were really present at the places at the time of the attack”.
“It is too early to say whether the affected areas were civilian areas or whether the Taliban was hidden,” he added.
“Spring Campaign”

During an hour of long shootout, the army deployed helicopters weapons and killed eight Taliban, while the source was injured by six other soldiers.
Since 1 January, more than 190 people, mostly members of the security forces, were killed in violence made by armed groups fighting against the government in both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and in the province of Balochistan south, according to the number of AFP.
A bomb explosion planted by a separatist on a motorcycle killed a soldier and civilians in Balochistan, said police officer Mohsin Ali AFP.

The attacks are growing
The attacks are reported every day in Pakistani northern and western regions bordering Afghanistan, where the army regularly says that during operations sweeping “terrorists” without limiting violence.
