Kashmir News: A group of tourists reportedly came under the attack of terrorists in Baisaran of Pahalgam, southern Kashmir. One person died of a terrorist attack. Police Kashmir said that on the upper meadows of Pahalgam in the tourist resort in Jammu and Kashmir Anantgag District were heard shooting.
Jammu and the Kashmiro police said the attack occurred at 14:30.
The resistance front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar-E-TABA, required responsibility for the attack.
The PAHALGAM District Hospital confirmed that 12 people were injured in the terrorist attack of Pahalgam.
According to India Today, two to three gunmen came in fatigue and fired without distinction to tourists in Loukech Baisaran. The security was strengthened in Pahalgam and the forces plunged into Cordon from the area.

The security forces have been rushing to the area and operation is currently underway. The highest officials, including the representative of the Anantnag Commissioner, also reached Pahalgam.

The leader of DP Mehboob Muftti condemned a terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam and said, “I strongly condemn the cowardly attack on tourists in Pahalgam, who tragically killed and hurt several.
“Historically, Kashmir warmly welcomed tourists, which is deeply concerned with this rare incident. A thorough investigation is needed to put the perpetrators to judge and explore potential security outlets. Ensuring major safety visitors and taking steps to prevent future attacks.”
Sajad Lone also condemned the terrorist attack of Pahalgama and called him a “cowardly” attack on Kashmi’s economy. “Please get out of our lives. These tourists are our worshiped guests.” Sajad Lone said.
The leader of BJP Ravinder Rain claimed: “Coward Pakistani terrorists conducted a cowardly attack on tourists in the Pahalgam of South Kashmir. They cannot face the Indian army, the J&K police, attacked innocent tourists.”
Attack comes when AMARNATH YATRA registration starts

The attack comes as offline registration for the upcoming annual AMARNATH YATRA began on April 15.
The 38-day pilgrimage is scheduled for 3 July from the twin-tramps 48 km Pahalgam route in the Anantnag South Kashmir district and 14 km shorter, but steep Baltal route in the Ganderbal district.
