Members of Andhra Pradesh Star Hotels Association (APHA) met with the main Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the Conclave of Tourism and emphasized the need to deploy instruments controlled by AI and digital innovation to modernize the experience of guests, marketing and hotel operations.
The main minister welcomed the readiness of the hotel industry together to create a technologically supporting plan for tourism growth.
The hoteliers also strongly urged the government to ensure that the benefits of complete status in the industry, especially recurring benefits, such as concessions of power tariffs, water tax and real estate tax, will expand to all existing stellar hotels, not just new ones.
Members stressed that while capital subsidies naturally apply to Green Pole projects, the ongoing operating benefits must treat all classified hotels to maintain the competitiveness of Andhra Pradesh as a quality tourist destination.
In addition, they recommended that the hotels be reclassified as “green category units” to check pollution, than in restrictive orange or red categories, recognizing sustainable field and environmental improvements.
According to sources, the main minister responded positively and assured the members of the association that the proposals will be carefully reviewed and will be issued suitable instructions on solving these long -term applications according to state tourism policy.
Delegation APHA included Prabhu Kishhore (chairman, Novotel Varun Group), Gongaraju Gongaraju (chairman, lemon tree premiere) Murali (CEO, Fortune Murali Park), AP Star Hotels Association Association Association).
