The Sindoor Operation came weeks after a terrorist attack on the Baisaran tourist resort near Jammu and Kashmir Pahalgam “Mini Switzerland”, in which 26 civilians were killed on April 22.
Pahalgam’s horror was the deadliest attack in the Indian Jammu and Kashmir after the terrorist attacks in Pulwam in 2019.
