
In a sad incident, the man and his three smaller daughters drowned on Wednesday Gujarat’s Banaskantha district on Wednesday when the car traveled in the canal was quoted by the police. The woman is still missing.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 3:30 pm near the Village of Devpura in ThaD Taluka in the district.
“The family from Tharalad returned home after meeting with relatives,” PTI quoted the official of the VAV police station.
“The man and his three daughters drowned after their car fell into the canal while his wife disappeared. The bodies of three girls and their father were unloaded while the search was watched,” he said.
The deceased were identified as Naveen Goswami (30) and his daughters Piuben (2), Minal (3) and Kavya (6).
“The team of the local fire brigade is carried out by the search for Hetalben (28), who was afraid of drowning,” the police officer said.
Although the exact cause of the accident has not yet been clear, the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle while driving from Canal Road. Police and local administration were investigating the incident, the police said.
