The notorious intersection of Silk Board Bengalur has witnessed the main relief of operation by December, with AFCONS Infrastructure announced that two more ramps of Nadiev will be completed by then. As soon as these ramps are functional, they will allow the commuting to completely bypass the intersection and ensure the “absolute zero waiting time”, according to D. Murugadasan, executive vice president of AfCon.
AFCONS said in the edition that it was building five ramps as part of its metro contract and on the road. Last year, three ramps of the overpass of the double decker were opened, but the persistent narrow places in operation persisted. The last two ramps, including ramp D, are expected to be at 28 meters and built on the fifth level above the existing overpasses and metro lines, will bring considerable relief.
“The work is part of the 9.8 km of the increased part of the blue Bengalur metro line from the silk board to Kr Puram. Despite the challenges in the construction industry and limited working hours between midnight and 6:00, AFCONS committed to fulfill the December period,” the edition said.
