VIPin Tada Meerut Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) told PTI videos that security agencies closely coordinate with the district administration, religious leaders and local parties to ensure peaceful celebration.

“Strict measures will be taken against those who have spread rumors or incite unrest through social media. We follow the social media platforms and any attempt to disturb municipal harmony will be firmly solved,” SSP said.
