The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange warning on Friday (July 18), which predicts the possibility of a very strong collision.
Isolated rainfall accompanied by strong winds were reported from different parts of the district on Thursday, July 17th. Although the Ministry previously announced a red warning for Kozhikode, no incidents related to rainfall from the district to 20 hours
The income authorities on Wednesday (July 16) moved 49 people belonging to 16 families in the village of Marutonkara to safer places after a sudden increase in water levels in Kadantharapuzha, the tributary of the Kuttiyadi River. There were unconfirmed news about a small landslide near Pasukadav. The movement of heavy vehicles through Thamarassery and Kuttiyadi Ghat Roads was limited to the next announcement. Schools got free on Thursday.
