The new optical illusion at Reddit has taken over the sources of puzzle lovers. Photos shared on the R/Findthesniper page looks like a simple street picture in a clear afternoon. The sunlight hits the road as the vehicles move forward. At first glance, there is nothing unusual. But as the poster indicated, the cat hides somewhere in sight.
The challenge spread quickly and attracted thousands of curious viewers who swore that the animal could see in seconds. Others admitted the defeat after staring for several minutes. A mixture of bright light and shaded stains in the photo only added confusion. Within 15 seconds, only people with a super -heated vision will be able to see cats.

The commentators filled the thread of the estimates. Some claimed it was “under the cat flatner”, a playful blow to the car tires. One user wrote, “You eyes!” After seeing cat. Another was heard and called it “emptiness with bright green eyes”. Several of them were quickly put that the illusion was “easy, if you have/know cats”, they pointed out how the felines often use shadow to mix.
The thread continued to grow and players indicate different places – under the door, near shadows or tucked around a red car. But only a handful managed to fix it without spoilers.
Why optical illusions like this work
Optical illusions are doing because our brains are looking for patterns. When a well -known object, such as a cat, breaks these patterns by hiding in the shade or copes with the colors of the background, our perception decreases. Strong sunlight in the picture created sharp contrasts, which made it even harder to insulate the details. What else should be mixed with everything else.
