Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury said there was no justification ”for killing by Israeli defensive forces (IDF) in the Gaza band.
Members of the Parliament of Opposition on Monday (August 11, 2025) condemned the ongoing Israeli military campaign in Gaza and called for the independent statehood of Palestine.
In the Solidarity action, which was invited to support the victims of the Israeli campaign in the Gaza Strip, a member of the Rajya Sabha Renuk Chowdhury Congress said, “There is no justification” for the killing of Israel’s defensive force (IDF) in Gaza Strip. ”
On this occasion, the Palestinian ambassador Abdallah M. Abu Shawesh made a strong reason for members of the parliament to reactivate the Indian Palestinian committee in parliament.
Mr. Shawesh also expressed gratitude for the support of Indian Members and civil society, and said, “Brothers and sisters thank you very much for your compassion, but sympathy needs iron legs, and for that we have to face the pro-Israeli propaganda that is happening in the world.”
He said the Palestinians were willing to answer questions about their movement and urged deputies to communicate with the Palestinians. “Ask us. We do not hesitate to answer any question, including the 7th October 2023,” he said, adding that there are other data in the conflict of Israeli Palestine, which will also be discussed without which the Palestinian narrative would not receive the audience.
“We should communicate. Give us a chance to communicate with you and we should re -activate the Indian Palestinian committee in parliament,” the ambassador said.
Mrs. Chowdhury continued and said, “Every child who died, every woman who is solved and every innocent man who is killed – among us resonates. Just as all barriers are removed, war resonates between us.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Manoj Kumar Jha, Indian Communist Party (Marxist) John Brittas, Revolutionary Socialist Party NK, Premacandran and Digvijaya Singh Congress, also focused on solidarity.
Prof. Jha questioned the Indian government of Indian inability to condemn Israeli military action.
